Hi everyone in Fukushima,
My name is Wang Ruilai, and I worked as a CIR in the International Affairs Division in Fukushima Prefecture 4 years ago.
After living there for a year, I came to really love Fukushima. Fukushima is a place full of countless wonders. The grand Mt Bandai, Inwashiro lake with its top quality water, Hanamiyama which comes alive with bright colours when the sakura bloom in spring, the elegant swans that visit in winter, the sweet peaches and persimmons, the award winning local Japanese Sake, and last but not least the kindheartedness of the local people.
After the Great East Japan Earthquake, the people in Fukushima have faced hard days due to fears of radiation and harmful rumors, but I know everyone is doing their best to work towards achieving recovery as soon as possible. I believe that the people of Fukushima’s spirits are strong, and that there is no challenge that they cannot overcome.
Currently I am no longer in Fukushima, but I still do my best to buy Fukushima Products, and promote correct information about Fukushima, and am doing what I can to continue to support Fukushima. I’d love to visit Fukushima again. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there!
