Well, I lived in Fukushima Prefecture for about 10 months. And I can only say good things about this place and its people. Although my family and friends were a little bit concerned about me going to Fukushima, I found beautiful places to visit and had wonderful time with local people who were very kind to me. And the food?.. oh gosh, the food was great! I´ve got to say that once, I visited a Food Inspection Institute in a field research, and then I was able to see how much the Prefecture is committed to provide safe food, free from high levels of radiation, by doing the inspection of the food that is sold in the supermarkets.

I lived in Aizu area, where I met very good friends who taught me a lot about their culture. It was the best experience of my life. I know that maybe, there are many people who still don't feel safe about going to Fukushima, but I can tell you from my experience that it´s a wonderful land. And you got to see and feel it for yourself. If you have a chance to visit Fukushima, don´t miss it!
