Three years have now passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake and for countless families life has not returned to the way it was before the earthquake, nor will it ever. However, hope must never be lost. Everyday we must continue to be strong in the face of adversity, continue to remember those that were lost, and never forget the lessons we learned. Every new day provides a new opportunity to move forward with our lives while remembering the past. By remembering the past we honour the memories of those who were lost and ensure a safer future.
