Okuaizu is a beautiful place hidden in the mountains of Aizu. Having lived here since 2010, I have watched it through peaceful times, times of uncertainty (during the Great East Japan Earthquake), times of difficulty (during the Tadami River Flood), and times of recovery. Okuaizu, Fukushima, Japan – you can see the great amount of effort put into its recovery and the results of those efforts today. I hope the people of Japan, and in particular Okuaizu, will continue to take this time as an opportunity to let everyone know about Fukushima and its warm smiles and hearts.
