I spent one year from April 2009 working as a CIR in the International Affairs Division of the Fukushima Prefectural Government.
Over that year, I came to really love Fukushima. Fukushima is a place full of countless wonders. The grand Mt Bandai, Inwashiro lake with its top quality water, Hanamiyama which comes alive with bright colours when the sakura bloom in spring, the elegant swans that visit in winter, the sweet peaches and persimmons, the award winning local Japanese Sake, and last but not least the kindheartedness of the local people.
Ever since the Great East Japan Earthquake, people have faced hard times due to fears of radiation and harmful rumours. However my heart is always with Fukushima.
Currently I am no longer in Fukushima, but I still do my best to buy Fukushima Products, and promote correct information about Fukushima, and am doing what I can to continue to support Fukushima. I’d love to visit
I want everyone know about Fukushima, which I still love this very day..
