Signing of MoU
The renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding with the States Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy (April 2023)
Govenor Uchibori and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Action and Energy, Neubaur, renewed the memorandum based on ongoing economic exchange.
Renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry for Economy, Innovation, Digitization and Energy, NRW (October 2019)
Within the cooperation with NRW so far a "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Fields of Energy Saving, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy" (signed with the former Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Agriculture, Nature Protection and Consumer Protection in February 2014 and renewed in January 2017) as well as a "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Medical Device Industry and Technology Development in related Fields" (signed with the Ministry for Economy, Innovation, Digitization and Energy in September 2014 and renewed in August 2017) has been signed and the relationship has been constantly deepened.
For the purpose of further developing the relationship between the two regions, the two MoU were integrated in October 2019 and updated as a "Memorandum of Understanding on Continuous Economic Exchange".

A "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Fields of Energy Saving, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy" has been signed with the former Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Agriculture, Nature Protection and Consumer Protection of the state of NRW, with which our prefecture has built a partnerships in the field of renewable energy.
NRW is Germany's No. 1 energy state, supplying and consuming about one-third of Germany's total energy. (Two of Germany's leading electric power companies, E.ON and RWE, are located in NRW.) The state of NRW is also in the process of shifting to renewable energy and has already 3,400 companies and 24,100 people working in this field.
Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the EnergyAgency.NRW (EA.NRW) and the Energy Agency Fukushima (EAF) in November 2017.
In order to further promote economic exchange between the two regions, a MoU has been signed on November 7th 2017 between EA.NRW, which is an organization that supports the development and agglomeration of renewable energy-related industries in NRW, and EAF, an organization that supports the development and accumulation of renewable energy-related industries in Fukushima prefecture, and the cooperation is further deepened.

Mutual exhibition at trade fairs
Fukushima Prefecture: Exhibiting at a trade fair held in NRW
Fukushima Prefecture has been exhibiting at the "E-world", Europe's largest energy-related trade fair held in Essen, NRW, with companies from the prefecture since 2014 and introduced products and technologies of companies in the prefecture and held business matching seminars with overseas companies.

NRW: Exhibiting at a trade fair organized by Fukushima Prefecture
NRW is exhibiting at the Renewable Energy Industrial Fair (REIF) Fukushima, held in Koriyama, with a NRW Pavilion since 2013 with several companies from the state and introduced products and technologies of NRW companies and held business matching seminars with companies from Fukushima Prefecture.
