Onahama Port is linked to the world.
With the establishment of a foreign trade container service,
its convenience has been greatly enhanced.

Aiming to become a 21st century international distribution base, a foreign route has been established in September 1998, so that by transferring ships at a foreign port, import-export trade can be conducted between Onahama Port and the rest of the world using containers.
Available routes at present are as follows.

Foreign route:
Japan-Korea route linking Onahama Port and Pusan Port, Korea; Coastal feeder service connecting Onahama Port to the world via Tokyo

Domestic route:
Route linking Kitakyushu (Moji Port) and Niihama Port
By using Onahama Port, cargo owners can improve their distribution systems and reduce distribution costs.

Onahama Port aims to open new routes in the future, and is steadily making preparations to that effect.
